B2B Buyer Guide

Specify D1 or D2 rather than ordering only by model name. Treat 260 km as a selectable range, not guaranteed usable reach. If live-fiber testing is required, request the exact filtered-port configuration and written input limits; marketing images show several live and non-live variants, so this function must be part of the quotation.

Remote Acceptance Before Bulk Ordering

  1. Confirm D1 or D2, connector interface, OPM range and included functions.
  2. Request a continuous video with serial number and a trace on a documented reference link.
  3. Obtain the original SOR file and compare settings, event positions and measured length.
  4. Agree launch/receive fibers, calibration document, language, accessories, warranty, packing and lead time.

Quotation and Related Products

Evaluation-unit availability and commercial terms are quotation-specific. Compare OTDR models, add an OTDR launch cable, or contact LinkFiber for a distributor quotation.

FAQ
Q:

What is the difference between NK4350 D1 and D2?

A:
Both are 1310/1550 nm G.652 single-mode configurations. D1 is specified at 26/24 dB and D2 at 30/28 dB maximum dynamic range. Select against the route loss and required margin.
Q:

Can the NK4350 test live fiber?

A:
Only a configuration explicitly supplied for live testing should be connected to an active network. Confirm the filtered port, supported service wavelengths and input-power limits in writing; not every pictured variant has the same capability.
Q:

Is 260 km the guaranteed NK4350 test distance?

A:
No. It is a selectable range. Actual usable reach depends on model, wavelength, fiber loss, events, pulse width, averaging and splitter loss.
Q:

Does the NK4350 include an optical power meter and VFL?

A:
The published functional configuration lists OPM and VFL. Confirm the selected OPM measurement range, adapters and exact package contents in the quotation.
Q:

What should distributors verify before ordering NK4350 units?

A:
Verify D1/D2, live or non-live function, connector, OPM range, display language, battery/adapter, software, calibration documentation and supplied accessories.
Q:

How can a remote buyer verify an NK4350 sample?

A:
Ask for a continuous serial-number video and trace acquisition on a documented reference link, then obtain the original SOR file and matching report. Agree acquisition settings before the test.
Q:

Can the NK4350 replace insertion-loss acceptance testing?

A:
Its light-source and OPM functions support loss testing, but the project procedure and reference method must be agreed. OTDR traces alone do not replace every end-to-end insertion-loss requirement.
Q:

What information is needed for an NK4350 quotation?

A:
Provide quantity, destination, fiber type, approximate length/loss, D1 or D2 preference, active-network requirement, connector, OPM range, reporting needs and accessory list.
